WAITING FOR GODOT by Samuel Beckett is regarded as one of the most important plays of the last century. Here is a little history: Samuel Beckett was born in 1906, in Dublin. He was educated at Trinity in Dublin, majoring in French and Italian, graduating with a BA in 1927, and an MA in 1931.
