  Contemporarian presents, The Australian premiere of DUCK HUNTING by Aleksandr Vampilov, adapted and edited by Shai Alexander at the King Street Theatre, Newtown. November 4 – 29. DUCK HUNTING by Aleksandr Vampilov was written in the Soviet Union in 1972. Vampilov was born in East Siberia and graduated from the Irkutsk University.
